Yes. The power supply is one of the first components we check. If its voltage output fluctuates beyond ±0.1 V or shows electrical noise spikes, it’s replaced with a new one. The controller board is bench-tested for stability over 100 power cycles. Renewed units either get a new PSU or a fully stress-tested one that meets our current production standards.
We test renewed Elite Panels on a multi-point irradiance grid (25 measurement points across the face of the panel). For the unit to pass, irradiance must remain within ±10% of the original spec across at least 90% of the surface. Any panel with uneven output — usually caused by LED degradation or failed clusters — is not approved for resale. Instead, it’s either rebuilt with new arrays or retired.
