Skin exposure

We recommend using Kala devices directly on the skin for optimal results. For example, if addressing back pain, remove any clothing and position the light towards your back.

Positioning

Whether you choose to sit, stand, or lie down, select the most comfortable position that effectively targets your desired treatment area. The optimal position can vary based on the specific body part you're addressing.

Frequency of use

Light therapy works best when used consistently. For optimal results, consider using the device between 3 to 7 times weekly (potentially daily).

Skin related concern

For skin-related concerns, the recommended treatment durations are:

+ For a distance of 6" from the body: Treat each area for 30 seconds to 2.5 minutes.
+ For a distance of 12" from the body: Treat each area for 1 to 3.5 minutes.
+ For a distance of 18" from the body: Treat each area for 1.5 to 5 minutes.
+ For a distance of 24" from the body: Treat each area for 2 to 7 minutes.
+ For a distance of 36" from the body: Treat each area for 3 to 14 minutes.
A key advantage of increasing the distance is the ability to treat expansive body areas in a single session, often yielding superior outcomes.

Deeper related concern

For deeper concerns, such as muscles, bones, brain function, organs, glands, and fat, the advised treatment durations are:

+ For a distance of 6" from the body: Allocate 2 to 7 minutes per treatment area.
+ For a distance of 12" from the body: Dedicate 5 to 10 minutes for each treatment zone.

Standard Treatment Protocol:

Begin with shorter sessions and gradually increase based on comfort. Position the device 5-10 cm (2-4 inches) from the treatment area. The Kala Mini 2.0 delivers precise, customizable light therapy across multiple modes and intensities.

  • Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to activate the device.
  • Position the Kala Mini 2.0 5-10 cm (2-4 inches) away from the intended treatment area. Use on clean, bare skin for optimal results.
  • The device will start with a default 10-minute session, using 660nm + 850nm wavelengths at high brightness.
  • To adjust treatment duration, press the W/T button to cycle through 5, 10, 15, and 20-minute sessions.
  • To switch wavelength modes (630nm + 830nm), press and hold the W/T button for 1.5 seconds.
  • To enter bedtime mode, press the power button once.
  • To stop the treatment early or power off the device, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
Kala Pro
Kala Aim for 10-minute sessions, placing yourself 6-12 inches away from your device for the most favorable results. For areas with symptoms, 15-20 minutes might prove beneficial. However, longer durations may not offer added benefits, as cells can only assimilate a limited amount of light at a given time.

  • Connect your device to a power source.
  • Press the Power button located on the device's back.
  • Activate the Power button on the digital dashboard.
  • Choose the Red/NIR option.
  • Position the light 6"-12" away, targeting the intended areas.

Standard Treatment Protocol:

Begin with 1-2 sessions per week and gradually increase to 3-5 sessions per week. Use on clean, bare skin and ensure the mask fits securely for even light distribution.

  • Ensure the device is fully charged and connect the mask cable to the controller.
  • Cleanse your face thoroughly, removing all makeup, sunscreen, and skincare products before treatment.
  • Secure the Kala Face Mask to your face using the adjustable velcro straps.
    Thread the straps through the side and top openings, then adjust for a snug, comfortable fit with full skin contact.
  • Put on the protective goggles before starting the treatment.
  • Press and hold the power button to activate the device. The mask will illuminate after a few seconds.
  • Select your treatment time:
    - Press once for a 10-minute session
    - Press twice for a 20-minute session
    If no selection is made, the device will default to a 10-minute treatment.
  • The device will automatically power off after the selected session.
  • To stop the treatment early, press the power button at any time.
  • Remove the mask and goggles after the session is complete.

Note:
- Recommended use: 10-20 minutes per session, starting 1-2 times per week, increasing to 3-5 times per week.
- Avoid using skincare products containing acids or active chemicals before treatment, as they may affect light performance.
- Always ensure the mask is properly secured for consistent and effective results.

Kala Therapy Hat

Standard Treatment Protocol:

Use daily for consistent results. Ensure the device is positioned directly on the scalp for optimal light delivery. The Kala Therapy Hat is designed for effortless, hands-free treatment.

  • Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds to activate the device. A beep will indicate the device has turned on.
  • Place the Kala Therapy Hat securely on your head, ensuring the inner light panels are in close contact with the scalp.
  • The device will run a 10-minute treatment session and automatically power off once complete.
  • To stop the session early, press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds. A beep will indicate the device has turned off.
Kala Elite/Duo/Quad
When positioning the light 6 or 12 from your body, a total exposure of approximately 15-20 minutes to the Kala light is recommended. For optimal results, consider 10-minute sessions daily.

  • Connect your device to an electrical outlet.
  • Press the Power button located on the device's rear.
  • Engage the Power button on the digital dashboard.
  • Opt for the Red/NIR setting.
  • Direct the light onto the desired areas, maintaining a distance of 6"-12".

Standard Treatment Protocol:

Use daily or as needed for targeted treatment. Apply on clean, dry skin with optional serum for enhanced glide. The Kala Therapy Wand is designed for precise, area-specific care.

  • Begin with freshly cleansed skin and pat dry. You may apply a thin layer of serum or use the device on bare skin.
  • Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to activate the device. The red LED will indicate activation.
  • To switch to blue light mode, tap the power button once.
  • Glide the wand gently and slowly across the treatment area, following recommended zones. Spend approximately 3 minutes per area.
  • The device will automatically turn off after a 12-minute session.
    To stop the treatment early, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
  • After use, wipe the wand head with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
  • For deeper cleaning, apply an alcohol-based sterilizer to a cloth and gently wipe the device. Do not spray directly onto the wand or submerge in water.

Note:
- Avoid directing the light into your eyes during use.
- Only activate the device when in contact with the skin to prevent overheating.
- Use consistent, slow movements to ensure even coverage and optimal results.

Kala Therapy Lamp
Kala Therapy Lamp For the best outcomes, position your Kala Lamp 6-24 away from your face and use it for a duration of 30 minutes to 2 hours, ideally within the first two hours after waking. A dark environment (with lights off) enhances the effectiveness of the treatment.

Many users report noticeable improvements in mood, energy, and focus within just two to four days when the lamp is utilized for a minimum of 30 minutes each morning.

When using the Kala Lamp, refrain from staring directly into the illumination. Set the lamp approximately 2 or 3 feet away during activities such as reading, eating, or working. Ensure the light directly reaches and is absorbed by your skin.

  • Connect your device to an electrical outlet.
  • Softly tap the power button to activate the device. Press and hold to modify brightness levels.
  • Choose the button on the right to adjust the color temperature.
  • Lightly tap the power button once. The lamp will emit a single flash, indicating that a 1-hour timer is set. A subsequent tap will make the lamp flash twice, signaling the timer's deactivation.

  • Press and hold the power button located at the top of the device to activate it.
  • Position the Kala Mini 6"-12" away from the intended treatment zone.
  • To power off the device, press and hold the power button situated at the top.
  • Quickly tap the power button to display the battery status.

Standard Treatment Protocol:

Use 3-5 times per week, 5 to 15 minutes per session. Use on clean, bare skin and ensure the wrap fits comfortably against the body throughout the entire treatment.

  • Press and hold the power button to activate the device and begin treatment.
  • Select your preferred treatment duration: 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
  • Adjust the heat setting between 38°C-42°C and choose your preferred vibration level, if desired.
  • The device will run for the selected 5, 10, or 15-minute session and automatically shut off when the treatment is complete.
  • To stop the treatment early, press the power button to turn off the device.
  • After treatment, remove the wrap, then clean it with a moistened cloth using water or 70% isopropyl alcohol, depending on the stains.
  • Store the device flat, away from heat sources and moisture.
Kala Neck Rejuvenator

Standard Treatment Protocol:

Use daily for 10-15 minutes for a minimum of 4 weeks. After that, continue using the device as needed based on your lifestyle and skin condition. Do not use the device more than 7 times per week. Use on clean, bare skin and ensure the device fits comfortably around your neck and upper chest.

  • Make sure the device is unplugged before use.
  • Place the device around your neck and secure it with the accompanying strap.
  • Press the ON/OFF button on the controller to begin treatment.
  • The device will run for a 10-minute session and automatically shut off when the treatment is complete.
  • To stop the treatment early, press the ON/OFF button on the controller.
  • After treatment, make sure the device is disconnected from the power supply before cleaning.
  • Clean the device using a water-based wipe or a damp, clean cloth.
Kala Infrared Sauna Blanket

Standard Treatment Protocol:

Daily use is safe when done properly. Beginners should start with 20-30 minutes at a lower temperature, around 45°C-50°C, and gradually increase to 60°C-75°C as tolerated. Use on a bed or flat surface, and ensure you can easily undo the velcro straps and exit the blanket before starting your session.

  • Place the sauna blanket on a bed or flat surface.
  • Place a clean terry cloth towel inside the blanket before use.
  • Connect the sauna blanket to the controller, then connect the controller to the power supply.
  • Press the POWER button to turn on the device.
  • Press the TIME adjustment button to set your desired session length. The default setting is 60 minutes.
  • Press the TEMPERATURE adjustment buttons, + or -, to set the desired temperature for each heating zone. A starting temperature of 45°C is recommended for beginners and continuous use.
  • Press the START button once your desired time and temperature settings are selected. The heaters will activate and begin the session.
  • When your session is complete, press the POWER button to turn off the device and disconnect the blanket from the power supply.
  • Clean the sauna blanket with a clean, soft cloth after use.

    Note:

    • If you feel uncomfortable at any time, turn off the device immediately.
    • Do not use the sauna blanket within 30 minutes before or after eating.
    • Do not use this product near water, such as near a bathtub, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool, or in similar areas.
    • Do not use the blanket without wearing clothing. Standard workout clothes and socks are recommended.
    • Avoid wearing metal, jewelry, or magnetic apparel while inside the blanket.

Standard Treatment Protocol:

Use 3-5 times per week for best results. Let your pet lie comfortably on the pad during treatment, and supervise during first-time use to help them get familiar with the device.

  • Place the sofa base on a flat surface.
  • Zip the therapy pad, with the built-in LED panel, securely onto the base.
  • Plug the controller into the bed, then connect it to a power outlet using the included adapter.
  • Press the power button to turn on the device and begin treatment.
  • By default, both LED light therapy, 650nm red light and 850nm infrared light, and PEMF will start together.
  • Press the timer button to select your preferred session length: 10, 20, or 30 minutes.
  • The system will automatically turn off when the selected session is complete.
  • To use only LED light therapy, press the PEMF button to turn off the PEMF function.

Time control

Follow these steps to set the treatment time on your Kala device:

  • Turn on your Kala Device.
  • Press the Power button on the digital dashboard.
  • Access the Time function using your digital dashboard.
  • Choose the NIR/RED setting.
  • Wait for approximately 3 seconds for the timer to initiate and your session to commence

Recovery+ Pulse Mode Control

Follow these steps to enable Recovery+ Pulse Mode on your Kala device.

  • Turn on your Kala Device.
  • Press the Power button on the digital dashboard.
  • Select your light setting: Choose RED/NIR for combined therapy, 

    or NIR mode if you want infrared pulse only.
  • Access the Mode function on the digital dashboard.
  • Wait approximately 3 seconds for Pulse Mode to activate 
and the session to begin.

73 HZ (F) - Bone and hypoactive tissue

73 Hz is commonly used to support bones and underactive tissue by promoting grounding stimulation, structural recovery, and improved function in areas with low activity or slow healing.
