We track operational cycles for every device. Renewed panels typically come from customer returns within the trial period, showroom demos, or lightly used clinical units. Any device exceeding 500 total operating hours doesn’t qualify for renewal. That’s less than 5% of the LED’s expected lifetime, which averages over 10,000 hours.
If testing shows uneven LED output, any underperforming diodes are fully replaced, not just recalibrated. We also routinely replace the power supply, internal wiring harness, and cooling fan if it shows early wear. The housing is deep-cleaned with medical-grade disinfectant, and the control board is checked for voltage stability. If any structural element like the frame is compromised, that unit is scrapped.
