    How do you make sure the PEMF strength is still the same as when it was new
    We use a gauss meter to measure the magnetic flux at multiple points across the mat’s surface. A new unit averages around 966 gauss peak near the coils. For a renewed unit to pass, it must deliver at least 90% of that original field strength across all active zones. If any coil shows weak output or inconsistent pulsing, we replace the entire coil assembly rather than repair a single segment.
    Do renewed devices come with a warranty?
    Absolutely. Kala Renewed devices include a 2-year limited warranty covering functionality and performance.
    How do you check that the heating and PEMF functions still work together safely after renewal?
    We run a thermal-electromagnetic stability test for 1 hour at the highest PEMF setting and maximum heat. The system must stay within safe operating temperature (below 70 °C) and maintain stable PEMF frequency without signal drift. If heating interferes with PEMF delivery — which can happen with worn insulation or weak power regulators — the mat is rejected or rebuilt with new internal layers.
    How do I know the internal wiring isn’t damaged or brittle from previous use or bending?
    This is one of the most common issues with heavy mats. During the renewal process, we do a continuity and stress test on every coil and heating wire. We flex the mat repeatedly while monitoring electrical resistance. If resistance spikes during flexing, it means the wiring is fatigued, and that mat is either rewired or scrapped. We don’t resell mats with unstable wiring.
